Personally I'm not overly comfortable with grouping pipe shapes or aspects of shaping into 'masculine' and 'feminine' camps. I get the idea behind it, I just feel that calling something masculine is to say that it is for men, and I like to think that this hobby of ours is far more open and inclusive than that. That being said, if I was to describe any pipe as 'masculine', it would be the Bulldog: muscular, utilitarian, and handsome in a rugged kind of way. Imagine my delight then, when I discovered this Bruyere, the 'masculine' Bulldog wearing Dunhill's elegant Bruyere finish, making for both a solid form and a beautiful presentation.
Greta Garbo would approve.
